Cathy Piccolo was admitted as a solicitor in 1988 and has been specialising in Succession Law for the last 13 years. Prior to that, she worked for two years as a deceased estate administrator with Perpetual Trustees Queensland and five years in general practice, practising in succession, property, commercial and general litigation.
Cathy has experience in most areas of succession law, including estate administration, estate planning and estate litigation. She is particularly interested in administering complex deceased estates.
Cathy enjoys solving the many problems encountered in succession law including the challenge of dealing with clients who may be very distressed because they are grieving for a close relative or friend.
Cathy is currently working part time while she balances her work and family commitments with two young boys.
