Karen is a solicitor practicing full time in the area of estate litigation. She has a background in all aspects of succession law but spends most of her days conducting family provision applications, solemn form proceedings and equitable actions, including unconscionable conduct, undue influence, duress and constructive trust claims.
Karen's pro bono activities include volunteering at Women's Legal Service, lecturing QUT's legal practice students on will drafting and contributing to Caxton Legal Centre's Queensland Law Handbook. She is a mediator and collaborative law practitioner. Karen was admitted in 2004 and joined de Groots in 2006.
