Phillip is an Accredited Specialist in Succession Law and has for many years worked exclusively in the areas of wills and estates and their related aspects. Prior to pursuing specialist practice his commercial law experience included work in the areas of leasing, securities, conveyancing and small businesses.

He is a member of the Queensland Law Society Specialist Accreditation (Succession Law) Committee and assists Dr John de Groot with updates to the texts of "Wills, Probate and Administration Practice (Queensland)" and "Family Provision in Australia".

Phillip's expertise in creating strategies to protect clients' wealth means he is in regular demand to give seminars on will making, estate planning and estate litigation to members of the legal profession and other professional bodies, as well as to the public at sessions arranged by charitable organisations.
