Kate was admitted to practice in 2017 following completion of a Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Laws at the University of Technology Sydney in 2016. Kate has worked as a lawyer in the areas of property law, self-managed superannuation funds, estate planning, and estate administration.
From 2009, she worked as a legal assistant and paralegal throughout her studies. In 2019 Kate completed a Masters of Law (Applied Law) majoring in Wills and Estates and Estate Planning at the College of Law after discovering her passion for succession law. Kate intends to become a Wills and Estates Law Accredited Specialist whilst working at de Groots wills and estate lawyers to further her knowledge and skills in Wills and Estates law. Kate has become involved with de Groots Guardian Services and is enjoying working on trust administration.
Kate has nine and a half years experience in a small firm focusing on estate planning, estate administration and property transactions and advice for a wide variety of clients, often in collaboration with advisers and accountants to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
Kate is a member of the Law Society of NSW.
